Rhodium

Rhodium is one of the rarest and most valuable precious metals. It is resistant to corrosion. It is mostly used in catalytic converters in automobiles. It is often alloyed with platinum or palladium to make corrosion-resistive coatings, used to plate white gold or sterling silver.
